Happening in the World: The bones of an Ice Age cave bear thought to be between 22,000 and 39,500 years old have been recovered in Yakutsk, Siberia. This is a monumental discovery: the first carcass found in its entirety with soft tissue. (CNN)

Happening in the US: South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg hit and killed a pedestrian with his car late last night. He originally thought he had struck a deer. An investigation lead by the Highway Patrol and investigators from North and South Dakota is underway. (USA Today)

Happening in NYC: Macy’s has announced that its annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will undergo major changes this year due to pandemic. All of the floats will be contained within Herald Square, where only television broadcasters will be allowed to observe. No live spectators will be allowed to watch from the street, and the balloons will be flown from cars instead of their usual handlers. (CBS New York)
