Statement from Jessica Marinaccio, Dean of Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid, shared with Bwog on Wednesday, December 15 at 5:56 pm:

This fall 6,305 students identified Columbia as their top choice, the second largest number of Early Decision applications in our history. Over the last month, the admissions staff and I have felt lucky to learn about the creative, engaged and questioning individuals who will be joining the Columbia community in the fall. We enthusiastically welcome these future Columbians, who represent all states, nearly fifty countries, and countless perspectives. We feel honored that among all the college options available to them, these students felt that they could see themselves flourishing at Columbia College and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. We wish these students and their families great joy in the happy news of their acceptance to Columbia!
