This year’s first housing roundup puts the B in Barnumbia!

In a truly shocking turn of events, Barnard has decided to start their housing lottery before Columbia. Students in groups of four picked into the 4-person suites today, but don’t worry if your group came up short! There’s still time to rearrange your group to enter into the 5- or 6-person lotteries in the coming weeks!

What’s Gone:

As can be expected, all of the 4-person suites were picked today during the 4-person lottery. The groups with the first 18 lottery numbers claimed all the suites of four singles in 121, 620, and CG, leaving suites of two doubles, two singles, and a double up for grabs. 34 of the 75 registered groups chose not to pick in the 4-person lottery, leaving a select number of suites available to all rising sophomore groups.

Looking Ahead:

The next part of the Barnard lottery for 5-person suites will be taking place this Friday, March 25 from 9 am to 5 pm. There are 29 5-person suites with one in 110, seven in 121, one in 600, nine in 616, nine in 620, and two in CG.
