On Thursday, December 15 at 7 pm EST, Columbia University released information pertaining to the Early Decision applications for the class of 2027. Columbia College and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences received a total of 5,738 applications, which is the third largest applicant pool that Columbia has seen in its history.
Bwog has calculated that this is a 9% decrease in applicant number from the previous year; 6,305 students applied early decision to Columbia College and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences for the Class of 2026.
More details about Columbia’s applicant pool and admitted class will be available at the conclusion of the Regular Decision process in the spring.
