Bwog—divining dorms since 2006.

Harmony: If you can, bathe in nature today. You may have been feeling ungrounded lately. Time for yourself—but not seclusion—and reconnecting with greenery will help you set down new roots that will help fortify yourself this year.

Broadway: There is a deeper connection on your horizon. The water flooding your bathroom floors can be thought of as a baptismal font. You are coming into this semester with so much rebirth, rebirths that are priming you to enter deeper into openness and bonding.

47 Claremont: There is silence and then there is no noise. Think about what this might mean in regard to your comfort and growth. Do you seek silence? The lack of intentional sound? Or are you seeking a pure auditory void? This will guide many things in the near future.

601 West 110th Street: Do you care? I’m not asking in the usual sense. Rather, do you engage with the world in a sense of shepherding, love, and custodial actions? Do you pick up what is discarded and breathe new life into it? Consider your role in this dynamic.

McBain: Stretch! Expand! Horizontal! Vertical! Take up space, take up all the space you can. Be nimble and flexible and stay that way. You never know when the winds will change and you will have to pivot.

Cathedral Gardens: There is art and there is fine art. Engage with the latter, somehow. They are the stories of old, you know. These are the tales of your ever-mothers many generations ago and when you listen, read, or see you are, in a way, connecting with them. You connect with the ones who engaged with their own eyes, who wanted to engage but never had the chance, or who never knew they existed but would’ve loved it had they ever received the chance.

Ruggles: Seek sunshine and light. You are equally as bright, but don’t forget to reflect the additional positivity around you!

Wallach: Take time to feel the world around you. Literally, feel. Equip yourself with hand sanitizer and touch what you have never touched before. Is it rough? Smooth? Was that expected? Often, it will be a little different than your estimation. So are many other of your expectations.

600 West 116th Street: Look out the window. It is transparent, but you are still aware of its frame. What does that call to? What does it suggest? Is the window meant to be known or is it meant to be visually elided? Or both? Or neither? Perception—that is the key to today.

Furnald: Whether you are silent or loud, you will be loud—in your actions, in your behaviors, in the subconscious.

SICs: What is this? What is all of this? What do you keep at a distance for safety and what do you keep at a distance because you are scared to do something without knowing the end? Sometimes, journeys are valuable even if they fail. And sometimes, the journey takes you to an unexpected destination that makes you happier than anything you knew you wanted with nothing to show for the previous goals. Goals come and go like the passing of colors at sunrise and sunset, but journeys last a lifetime after they finish. So do it.
