CUP: The Boys in the Band

  • November 10 and November 11, Glicker Milstein Theatre
  • The Columbia University Players’ fall performance is The Boys in the Band by playwright Mart Crowley. The play follows a group of gay men who gather for a birthday party in New York City.

Columbia University Ballet Ensemble: Giselle

  • November 11, 7 pm, Miller Theatre
  • The Columbia University Ballet Ensemble’s fall tenth-anniversary performance is Giselle, a ballet classic following the story of a young peasant girl who dies of heartbreak. 

Columbia Musical Theatre Society Showcase

  • November 10, Lerner Black Box
  • CMTS will present a showcase of musical theater numbers. This listing will be updated with more info as it becomes available; for now, check out the CMTS Instagram for updates.

Spare Tires Improv Festival

  • November 10 and November 11, 8 pm, Lerner Hall: Wang Pavilion
  • Spare Tires is Third Wheel Improv’s Annual Improv Festival, featuring performances from collegiate improv groups from across the country, including Georgetown, Yale, and Harvard.

Sabor Fall Show: Los Originales 

  • November 11, 1 pm, Roone Arledge Auditorium
  • Sabor, Columbia’s Latin Dance group, will present a two-hour showcase of student-choreographed Latin Dance pieces.

Columbia Chinese Orchestra Fall Concert

  • November 11, 2 pm, Lerner Hall 555
  • The Columbia Chinese Orchestra will present a concert filled with Chinese folk music, opera, Korean pop songs, and more, highlighting the orchestra’s ability to create innovative music pieces that combine Eastern and Western music.

Visual Arts and Sound Arts Class of 2024 Open Studios

  • November 12, 2 pm, Prentis Hall
  • The School of the Arts MFA Class of 2024 will be having an open studio showcase for its visual and sound artists’ work, which will be free and open to the public.
