Happening in the US: Yesterday evening, Congress passed a bill to prevent partial government shutdown the upcoming weekend, which will become a law if President Biden approves the bill by midnight. The Democratic-led Senate passed the bill 77-18, while the Republican-led House passed it 314-108. This is the third stopgap bill since September, one which will extend government funding deadlines to March 1 and 8. (NBC)
