Andrew Freedman is a Senior Climate Reporter for Axios, covering climate science and policy, extreme weather, and the energy transition. More information.
CSC Workshop: What does data “see”? Public Data, Biases, and Surveillance in NYC

- This workshop will navigate public data and its potential biases, with a focus on surveillance in urban environments. Attendees will be able to look at available data for NYC, analyzing how it impacts punishment and regulation. It will be led by Hannah Pullen Blasnik, a PhD Sociology candidate. More information.

Climate across Scales: Perspectives on National Politics, Colonial Legacies, and Resilient Communities

- A cross-disciplinary panel will examine the key concepts shaping current climate research and politics. Topics will range from the climate crisis to immigration to food policy and more. It will unearth how climate politics relate to many other topics of discussion. More information.
