“New Beginnings” Spring Blood Drive

EKA Lecture: New Field of Quantum Science and Engineering

Lead Contamination in Soil: A Community Manual Launch Event

  • Produced by the Black School in New Orleans, this event will showcase the importance of community focused and led solutions regarding climate issues. Presenters will share their knowledge and experience regarding soil remediation, with a focus on environmental justice and public health. Learn more.

Responsible Community @ Columbia – Cannabis 101

  • Alice! Health Promotion will conduct a workshop to promote safe behaviors and positive community norms around cannabis use. Here, you can learn about how cannabis affects the body, the different forms of it, current policy, intervention strategies, and protective behaviors. Learn more.

Transforming Urban Waste: Policy, Innovation, & the Path to Sustainability

  • Thursday, April 17, 6 to 9 pm.

  • In this event through the Research Program on Sustainability Policy and Management, the MS Program in Sustainability Management, the MS Program in Sustainability Science, and the MPA Program in Environmental Science and Policy, experts will discuss the role of urban policy in addressing municipal waste in NYC and beyond.
