Happy LDOC!!

Highlights: 

On Friday, the Men’s Tennis team took down Binghamton 4-0 at home in the opening round of the NCAA tournament. Doubles pair Michael Zheng (CC ‘26) and Nicolas Kotzen (CC ‘26) defeated Binghamton’s top doubles pair with a score of 6-1 to start off a victorious day. To continue this run, Hugo Hashimoto (CC ‘25) and Jayden Templeman (CC ‘25) took down another Bearcats pair with the same score of 6-1. The Lions’ momentum didn’t stop with doubles play: Kotzen, Zheng, and Hashimoto all won their singles matches, securing the Lions’ win for the day. Kotzen took down Binghamton’s Ronin Lotlikar in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0, followed by Zheng’s 6-1, 6-2 win. Hashimoto rounded it out with a 6-2, 6-2 win, effectively ending the Bearcats’ chances. When the contest was called, the remaining Lions, Max Westphal (CC ‘25), Sachin Palta (CC ‘26), and Thanaphat Boosarawongse (CC ‘28) all led in their matches, pointing to the Lions’ dominance this weekend.
