Contextualizing the Impacts of Climate Change on Human Health

- Join Professor Jeffrey Shaman, PhD, in a discussion of climate change’s impact on public health. Shaman is an expert in the fields of epidemiology, climate dynamics, and infectious diseases. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he led studies of the disease and projected its outcomes. He currently serves as the Senior Vice Dean of the Climate School. Learn more.

- This event promises a series of discussions with a range of voices including international leaders, U.S. policymakers, industry professionals, and scholars. Speakers include Armando Paino Henriquez Dajar, Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources, Dominican Republic, and Peter McGuinness, CEO of Impossible Foods. Learn more.
Resilient Futures: Civic Engagement and Call to Action

- Hosted by the NYC Preparedness & Recovery Institute, this event is a workshop focused on empowering community members to address the challenges of health and climate by taking practicable steps.
