Happening off-Campus: Tonight, the candidates for NYC mayor will take the stage for their final debate. Leading in the polls is Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee. The debate is scheduled for 7 pm and will last 90 minutes. The debate will air in full on Spectrum News NY1 and WNYC radio and will also be live-streamed on YouTube. Early voting begins on Saturday, October 25, and the general election will be held on Tuesday, November 4. (NYT)

Happening near Campus: Tonight, American Ballet Theatre, The Misty Copeland Foundation, and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts are hosting Misty Copeland’s historic farewell from ABT at the Company’s Fall Gala. The event will be live-streamed to Alice Tully Hall and invites the public to share in this extraordinary evening celebrating Copeland’s career. Complimentary tickets will be distributed at 4 pm at the Alice Tully Hall Box Office and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two per person. The livestream will begin at 6:15 pm. (ABT)

Happening on Campus: Celebrate the Roger Lehecka Discovery Center’s 60 years of success from 6:30 to 9:30 pm tonight. The event will honor DDC leaders with the James P Shenton Award for Excellence, an award for outstanding accomplishments and contributions to improving the education of college-bound, first-generation students.
