Happening off-Campus: The Kilauea volcano, an active shield volcano in the Hawaiian Islands, has erupted. We are seeing record-high lava fountains from this eruption. Kilauea’s last eruption was in September. (AP)

Happening near Campus: Yesterday, No Kings demonstrations took place nationwide, including in NYC. Tens of thousands of people turned out to protest President Donald Trump. The march was what they described as authoritarian trends in the current U.S. leadership.(Gothamist).
