Men’s Tennis takes on the NCAA singles and doubles championships this week!

Highlights: 

On Saturday, the Columbia men’s and women’s squash teams had a successful day against Tufts and Colby. 

On the men’s side, the Lions dropped just one set to Colby, and won eight of their nine matches against Tufts. Freshman Sam Du (SEAS ‘29) earned his first wins as a Lion, with senior Franklyn Smith (CC ‘26) facing off against Rohan Valia in a tense five-set match. Yusuf Sheikh (CC ‘28) and Arhan Chandra (CC ‘27) both went undefeated in their matches.

On the women’s side, Columbia fell to the Tufts Jumbos 4-5 before defeating Colby 8-1. Charlie McCrone (CC ‘29), Isha Gupta (CC ‘29), and Cynthia Yu  (CC ‘29) recorded their first wins as Lions. Sophomore Eva Salzman (CC ‘28) and juniors Kaavya Bansal (CC ‘27) and Advita Sharma (SEAS ‘27) each won both of their matches. Go Lions!
