Highlights:
On Friday, the Men’s Basketball team defeated Lehigh, 82-67, on their home court. The Lions started off with a dominant performance, with seniors Zine Eddine Bedri (CC ‘26) and Kenny Noland (CC ‘26) scoring in the double digits in the first 20 minutes of the game. Noland had a career high 27 points, with Bedri following with an impressive 21 points and 12 rebounds, earning him his second double-double as a Lion. Blair Thompson (CC ‘26) also earned himself a double-double, with 11 points and 10 boards.
Although the Lions maintained a healthy lead, the first half was tense before Columbia pushed ahead of the Mountain Hawks with a 6-0 run in the last two minutes, ending with back-to-back buckets from first year Connor Igoe (CC ‘29). By the half, the Lions held the lead at 41-29.
The Lions dominated throughout the second half, holding a 21-point lead with just 3:23 left in the game. Go Lions!
