- Friday, November 7, 7 pm, and Saturday, November 8, 2 and 7 pm, Minor Latham Playhouse
- The Columbia University Players (CUP) present their fall mainstage production, Madeline George’s Hurricane Diane. This play is “a dark comedy that reimagines the Greek god Dionysus (as a modern-day butch lesbian named Diane) returning to a New Jersey suburb to convert four housewives into acolytes and usher in a new era of ecological harmony.” This production is directed by Noel Ullom (BC ‘27).
Stile Antico: Golden Renaissance
- Saturday, November 8, 7:30 pm, Church of St. Mary the Virgin (145 West 46th St., NYC)
- Presented by Miller Theatre, Stile Antico will perform a musical journey through the Renaissance. They have selected one piece from each of their sixteen albums to form this concert. Stile Antico is an acclaimed British early music vocal ensemble, noted for their lack of conductor even as they sing in complex polyphony.
- Sunday, Nov 9, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, Roone Auditorium (Lerner Hall)
- Plus86 is Columbia’s Chinese street dance crew, performing a variety of styles including K-pop, hip-hop, street jazz, and popping. They will present their fall showcase of student choreography and performance.
