Bwog urges you to get a head start on your St. Patrick’s day celebrating by attending the 27th annual St Pat’s For All Parade!

Happening off-Campus: As of March 3, airlines are currently canceling and/or pushing back flights in regard to the Middle East following the United States and Israel’s joint declaration of strikes. This response by both nations was triggered by Iran’s attacks on the Gulf states. Travelers across several nations are urged not to take flights to the Middle East, as most airlines are temporarily not offering these destinations. Not only are individuals barred from visiting these locations, but travelers from these nations are left stranded in their vacation spots. (BBC)

Happening near Campus: As it is the first day of March, today the 27th annual St. Pat’s For All Parade will occur on 43rd Street & Skillman Avenue from 12 to 4 pm. Despite the trek to Queens, it’s most definitely worth it, as this is one of New York City’s most inclusive and welcoming St. Patrick’s celebrations. The event is in loving memory of Malachy McCourt, an Irish compatriot of the arts. It’s a free event, but all donations fund the parade mission. Click here to get tickets

Happening on Campus: On Tuesday, March 3, Miller Theatre has the privilege of hosting Amy Williams, where she will perform Morton Feldman’s Triadic Memories (1981). Stop by at 5:30 pm, with music starting at 6 pm. For more information, click here
