Happening Off Campus: Singer D4vd was finally charged in the murder of Celeste Hernandez on Monday, May 20, seven months after police first discovered the body in the trunk of his Tesla. D4vd, whose name is David Burke, may face up to a life sentence without the possibility of parole, which will be decided at a later date. He faces the charge of first degree murder with special circumstances. “Special circumstances” include lying in wait, committing the crime for financial gain, and murdering a witness”. (Complex)

Happening Near Campus: The world premiere of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” was held on Monday, May 20 at the Lincoln Center on the Upper West Side. Many of the stars from the original film including Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, and Meryl Streep attended the event. Lady Gaga also made an appearance on the red carpet. The movie will be released in theaters on May 1. (ABC)
