Women’s basketball wins the WBIT!

Highlights

Columbia women’s basketball won the Women’s Basketball Invitational Tournament, the first postseason tournament victory in WBB history. The Lions (25-8, 11-3 Ivy) demolished BYU (26-12, 9-9 Big 12) in the game, which was held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas. Columbia Baseball (6-18, 4-5 Ivy) went 1-2 in three games against Penn (10-15, 5-4 Ivy) this weekend. One highlight was the first game, in which Columbia won 21-11, coming back from a 9-0 deficit in the beginning of the fifth inning. The team scored 5 runs in the fifth, 9 runs in the 7th, and 7 runs in the 8th innings.
