97 years ago today, archeologist Howard Carter opened the sealed burial chamber of King Tutankhamen, yet only today do we learned what was discovered. Here is an excerpt from Carter’s discoveries:
There was a strange familiarity to the space, something I couldn’t quite place… It reminded me greatly of Lerner 510, more specifically the light of the room at 9pm on a Sunday… I was struck, but also pleased, to find copious amounts of grapes strewn throughout the room… I highly suggest that every Columbia student visit, ideally tonight, the 16th of February…
