The play follows the story of Lemarcus and his 8-year-old daughter Aniyah and their move into a homeless shelter in the middle of Hell’s Kitchen, a progressive, newly popular neighborhood that will be put to the test with the rising homeless population.
  • In celebration of Passover and Easter, Live with Carnegie Hall’s Be the Light is “a call to action in the wake of this country’s social, political, and environmental unrest.” Performances by Kenny Lattimore, Iyanla Vanzant, Kierra Sheard-Kelly and Karen Clark Sheard, and Cory Henry will be hosted by producers Ray Chew and Vivian Scott Chew and will cumulate in the release of Cantor Azi Schwartz and Israel Houghton’s cover of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
