Welcome to Barnard, Class of 2025!

Yesterday, Barnard released admissions decisions for the Class of 2025 at 7 pm EDT.

The College received a record 10,395 applications, a 10% increase from last year, and accepted 1,084 students. Admitted students come from 43 US states and territories and 40 countries. 19% identify as first-generation college students, and 64% identify as women of color. 

Jennifer Fondiller, Vice President for Enrollment and Communications, said of the record-breaking number of applicants, “It’s a recognition of not only our academic excellence, but also the strong sense of community on which we relied to get us through the most difficult days of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
