We LOVE Women’s Basketball!!

Highlights: 

Columbia’s women’s basketball team remains undefeated in the Ivy League after defeating Dartmouth 71-48, marking their 9th consecutive win. Riley Weiss (CC ’27) led the scoring with 25 points and an impressive 6 rebounds. Blau Tor (BC ’27) put up big numbers when she scored a career-high 11 points coupled with 9 rebounds. Susie Rafiu (CC ’26) also put up an impressive 23 minutes, where she scored 12 points and had 2 rebounds.

Men’s swimming and diving took down Dartmouth in a decisive 181.5-118.5 win, concluding their regular season. Adam Wu (CC ’26) won the 200 freestyle and 200 backstroke with times of 1:41.48 and 1:48.96, respectively. Both the relay teams won their races, beginning with the 200 medley team of Adam Wu (CC ’26), Demirkan Dermir (CC ’25), Brian Lee (SEAS ’26), and Zion James (CC’ 26), finishing with a time of 1:31.11. The 200 free relay composed of Adam Wu, Samuel Eckert (SEAS ’26), Beri Yang (CC ’27), and Zion James (CC’ 26) came out victorious with a time of 1:21.05. Next, the team will take on the Ivy League Championship beginning on February 26.
