Bwog takes the WBNA playoffs very seriously.

Happening off-Campus: Tonight the New York Liberty face off against the Phoenix Mercury at the Barclays Center for the Game 2 of the First Round in the WNBA playoffs. The Liberty won against the Mercury on Sunday, and if they win the game tonight, they will advance to the next round. Tickets are still available for the game tonight! (WNBA)

Happening near Campus: Tonight, from 6 to 7:30 pm, the Interchurch Center in Morningside Heights is inviting all to an interfaith welcome to the neighborhood and its community. The evening will feature sacred music and reflection. Refreshments and kosher food will be provided. To RSVP, click here.

Happening on Campus: In collaboration with the Schomburg Center for Research on Black Culture – NYPL, there will be a showing of Shari Frilot’s “Black Nations/Queer Nation?” in honor of the film being released 30 years ago. Following the screening there will be a discussion about the role of intergenerational collaboration within Black queer political organizing, the evolution of threats that the Black Queer community faces today, and more. The event starts at 5 pm, and registration is required. To register, click here.

Field Note: The Summer I Turned Pretty finale is out. I am too scared to watch, but also I really want this show to be over.
