Bwog is loving this weather! Not too hot and not too cold.

Happening off-Campus: A federal judge’s ruling stopped the Trump administration from deploying the National Guard in Portland, Oregon. Last week, the President tried to federalize troops in the Oregon National Guard in order to protect the federal buildings in Oregon. City and State officials sued against this action, which brought the case to the docket of U.S. District Judge Karin Immergut (AP).

Happening near Campus: The first supermoon of the year takes place Monday night! The moon will appear brighter and larger in the sky. If clear skies continue, the supermoon can be seen without any equipment. It can be seen from NYC, so keep an eye out (AP)

Happening on Campus: Columbia University’s School of the Arts is holding an exhibition featuring the work of Joan Jonas. The exhibition, Moving off the Land II, contains eleven drawings of red fish, which were digitally scanned, scaled up, and printed from Jonas’ titular installation. Find Jonas’ work in the lobby of the Lenfest Center for the Arts from 11 am to 5 pm and find more info here.
