Another week of Columbia sports!

Highlights: 

On Friday, the Field Hockey team took down Dartmouth, 2-1, on their home turf with two fourth-quarter goals. The Dartmouth Big Green was on the board early, with a goal in the second-quarter just before halftime. The Lions battled it out defensively, with goalkeeper Margot Houle (CC ‘28) making nine saves throughout the game, four of which were recorded in the last 15 minutes. 

With just 5:26 remaining in the game, junior Delfina Gonzalez Lobo (CC ‘27) scored a goal with an assist from sophomore Jacinta Solari Etcheberry (CC ‘28) to tie the game at 1-1. To end the game, Ashley Kim (CC ‘28) took a Dartmouth turnover and scored to put the Lions in the lead and secure the win. This goal marks Kim’s second game-winning goal of the season. Go Lions!
