Postseason coming for both women’s basketball and wrestling!

Highlights

On Friday, March 6, Columbia men’s basketball team (16-12, 5-9 Ivy) concluded their regular season with a 71-81 loss to Harvard at Levien Gymnasium. Senior Blair Thompson (CC ‘26) led in scoring with 19 points.. Fellow senior Kenny Noland (CC ‘26) scored 18, ending with 1,225 points, which is the 14th highest men’s basketball total in program history. Columbia ends up in 5th in the Ivy League.

On Sunday, March 8, Columbia’s wrestling team came in second in the Ivy League championship, and six wrestlers qualified for the NCAA National Championship, which will be held between March 19 and March 21, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio.

Also on Sunday, at Levien Gymnasium, Columbia women’s basketball (20-7, 11-3 Ivy) lost to Harvard, 64-68. A full article will be coming soon. Finishing second in the Ivy League regular season standings, the Lions will be qualifying for the Ivy Madness conference championship tournament for the fifth straight year. In the semifinal, they will rematch third-seeded Harvard at Ithaca, New York, on Friday at 7:30 PM. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
