This recently renovated residential building on W 112th St is an exciting new choice!

Nearby:

  • A short walk to Riverside Park! I highly recommend the views and dog watching.
  • It shares a block with Community Food & Juice, as well as Wu and Nussbaum, a great choice for a hearty breakfast.
  • If you walk toward the Broadway side of W 112th St, Milano Market is just a short walk away and a popular option for chicken Caesar wraps.
  • Nestled halfway between W 113th and W 112th, there are several other great food and drink options: Junzi, DIG, Oren’s, and Tom’s Restaurant.
  • Around the southwestern corner of W 112th and Broadway is the downtown M4 and M104 bus station.
  • Duane Reade is not far, located on the northeast corner of W 111th and Broadway, for any essentials or prescriptions you may need.
  • Finally, Maranamay is close to the 1 Train’s 110th St Station.

 Resident Opinion

  • “Best residence hall, and most underrated.”
  • “Our building isn’t very social, but I think many of us like it that way.”
  • “Having all new furniture and amenities is great!”
  • “Kitchens and lounges are sometimes crowded.”

Bwog Recommendation

Considering how little I had heard about this building before reviewing it, I would venture to agree with the resident who claimed this to be one of the more underrated Columbia residence halls. The 2025-2026 residents are the first to live here as a residence hall, as it was previously a hotel! Having been renovated into a dorm building in 2024, the building maintains a fresh and exciting feel. Also, it is an all-electric building with in-unit cooling and heating, which is unique compared to other Columbia residences!
