I can’t be the only one who noticed!

At the start of the semester, I noticed something different. The salad bar has obviously changed, and everyone knows it. However, every time I go to get a soda, the cup has felt different in my hand. Smaller. Suspiciously smaller. The cup actually holds differently. So what exactly happened? Why are we getting baby-sized cups?

A reasonable person might assume that Dining had simply ordered smaller cups. But this explanation fails to answer why the salad bar change is so obvious while the cup situation is hard to find out.

First, Dodge changed its token system. Then, Chef Mike’s built a fortress to prevent people from refilling their soda. Now, Ferris is using baby-sized cups. What comes next? Will John Jay start charging for ice cream? Will we need two-factor authentication to get a spoon?

Separately, these may be two unrelated actions. However together, they reveal a coordinated effort by the mice behind Ferris to establish their dynasty. With Ferris now openly defined as D Grade, the mice have openly declared their possession. Every possible change in the dining halls are the actions mice use to build their fortress. If you observe closely, maybe the kitchen staff have already been replaced.  Bwog will continue this story as new developments arrive, and do not discuss this article near the baseboards.
