@Homer Sekshule Dear Bwog,
I believe you may have made an error. For the Benzo record release party, you said “A reason to party on a Tuesday.” I’m assuming what you meant to say is “Yet another reason to party on a Tuesday, in addition to the fact that you just got off work for the first time since you got there Monday morning.” While I realize that may or may not apply to all readers, since everyone knows anyone who matters at Columbia is an investment banker (or intern in investment banking), it’s safe to say at least most of your readers will find my correction applicable. Please do try and avoid such mistakes in the future.
(Also, thanks for giving me a bwog to comment on at midnight when I can’t bring myself to continue plugging numbers into Excel.)
Best wishes
@... the benzos are a good live act.
@so which of these are good after-work date options?
@steph quan i suggest all about eve or snapshots. either one will give you stuff to talk about afterwards. although city of lost children does involve booze…
@Lauryn Hill = TOTAL disappointment. Not only were there a SHITLOAD of people there, they closed the gates right when I was in the front of the line. We waited in line for about two hours, but as far as I could tell she wasn’t even at the concert yet by the time we left.
I have a feeling she pulled another Oakland … http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/c/a/2007/06/29/DDGD8QN31O1.DTL&type=printable

@Seasoned SiTP goer You might want to mention that while tickets are handed out at 1 pm for Shakespeare in the Park, if you aren’t in line before 9 am, you don’t really have a prayer of getting one, earlier on weekends. Go early (the park opens at 6 am) to get the best seats. Also, check the weather beforehand- there are no rain checks there, so if you camp out and then there’s a downpour, you’ll just have to camp out again.
