Olinto and Interim Executive Vice President of University Life Melanie Bernitz announced the University’s new Anti-Doxxing and Online Harassment Policy, stating Columbia’s commitment to “fostering an inclusive, respectful, and safe community, in person and in online spaces.”
During a virtual plenary on Wednesday, May 8 at 3:30 pm, the University Senate discussed the decision to cancel commencement and unanimously passed a motion calling for the temporary suspension of disciplinary procedures against student protesters.
