Study days revolt!One or two (but certainly not three!) of you had something to say about last semester’s unfortunate Study Day(s?) timing. No one wants to study for Econometrics two days before Christmas, so Marisa Rama and Jordan Hewson, both CC ’12, created a Facebook group as a form of petition against future years following the same winter break calendar.

According to Rama, 1,647 people have written on the group’s wall, adding their names to a petition being brought to the University Senate this Friday the 29th. The petition, copy-pasted from the Facebook wall, was sent to the offices of the Registrar and the Provost last night, but names are still being collected in the group.
