Please join La Società Italiana in welcoming acclaimed writer, and 1974 Columbia Alum, Dianne Hales back to Columbia University! Dianne’s new book La Bella Lingua: My Love Affair with Italian, the World’s Most Enchanting Language is a must read for all Italophiles and lovers of anything Italian!

Dianne will give a presentation and talk about her book as well as her experiences with Italy and the Italian language. After, there will be an interview-style Q&A session lead by the Executive Board of La Società Italiana. There will also be time for audience questions, mingling and book signing! Of course, refreshments will be served. Books will be available for purchase as well!

This is a much anticipated and sure to be AMAZING event! If you study, want to study or simply love Italian language and culture you will be fascinated by Dianne and by her life experiences.
