@Thank you sir/madam. You are awesome.
@Kayaking Bwog, be a sweetheart and find out what the deal with free Kayaking at riverside is (I think it’s 72nd & River). What to do, when, where, etc.
@Anonymous Thanks for mentioning my upcoming performance at the Museum of Modern Art with my trio. I’m really looking forward to it as it will bring together some really creative musicians with whom I haven’t worked in a long time, including Dwayne Burno – bass and Reggie Nicholson – drums, joined by guest Sam Newsome on a few tunes also! There’s more info on me (incidentally) via my website at: ddjackson.com
– D.D. Jackson
Jazz pianist/composer
@Question Do you have more info on the Ghostface show? It’s not on the Highline website.
@red the Ghostface show is RSVP-only and is full:

@don't worry about missing ghostface. the concert on the steps was nothing exciting (or enjoyable)
@oh wow number 7 must have been one of the real street niggas with his pistol in the air at that show. i hate you for saying that
@DHI Don’t judge anybody by a daytime concert on the steps with the Columbia crowd. The Ghostface show earlier that year at the B.B. King was one of the best shows I ever went to. But even though the steps was not his best effort, it was definitely “enjoyable” and I would say even “exciting” that Ghostface and GZA were performing for free a few hundred feet from where I lived.
