@midnight yoga is at 10 pm, not 12 am.
just thought i’d let you know http://www.laughinglotus.com/mainpages/midnight_guests.html
@Cajun The entire point of Mardi Gras is that you DO NOT party after Mardi Gras because it is LENT.
I miss the South.
@fellow coonass laughing at celebrating mardi gras during lent. This is like the tourists that come down to NOLA to party ON mardi gras and are freaked out when midnight hits.
eta: i am already on king cake withdrawal.
@festival of winds sounds like a subtitle to a castlevania game
@Louisiana native You celebrate Mardi Gras the weekend before Fat Tuesday, not the weekend after. Silly bwog.
@explanations sometimes, i silently yet violently flatulate in the anonymity of the library. sometimes i smell others do it as well. taken together, we are a festival of winds.
@adulation Let me just say that this is possibly the best comment ever posted on Bwog. Props.
@Bwog, Shameful How could you not mention the Columbia Festival of Winds in this listing? It is a whole day of live of music in Roone Arledge, featuring five community concert bands, and a fundraiser for inner city music education. The program also includes special appearances by the Wycliffe Gordon Quintet and Manhattan Brass Quintet.
@oh wait if you actually read the event listings, you’d notice that all these notices are off-campus events. but that would stop the self-righteous anger, wouldnt it?
@also festival of the winds is such an awful name. who came up with that?
@Bwog YOU should call to see if there are special CUID prices!
too much effort?
