Football: After a turnover-filled Homecoming loss to Penn, football is on the road this week, at winless Dartmouth. Last year, the Big Green provided Columbia its first win of the season, with the Light Blue offense generating 374 yards of offense. Kickoff is at 1:30, with audio on Columbia athletics website and WKCR.
Soccer: Two losses last weekend (3-0 on Sunday to Princeton, 1-0 on Tuesday to Villanova) were not how the men’s soccer team wanted to enter its match at nationally-ranked Dartmouth, at 4 p.m. today. The women’s team enters the weekend sitting third in the Ivy League on seven points, with last weekend’s 0-0 tie against Princeton costing them two more points in the race for the league title. Still, their final two games of the season are against Yale (2nd, with nine points) and Harvard (1st, with twelve), and a win today at Dartmouth (kickoff at 6:30 p.m.) would keep them in contention.
Field Hockey: A midweek 3-1 win over Lehigh–on two goals from Gabby Kozlowski and one from Christine Buszczak–gives the field hockey team (6-6, 1-2 Ivy League) some momentum going into today’s game against (you guessed it!) Dartmouth, which started at noon.
Volleyball: A tough loss last night against Princeton dropped the volleyball team to 2-5 in the Ivy League, but they finish up their road trip against the last Ivy team they haven’t played yet, Penn, at 4 p.m. in Philadelphia.
Cross-country: The cross-country teams have the weekend off before next Friday’s Ivy League Heptagonal Championships.
Rowing: The rowing teams finish their short fall seasons at the Princeton Chase (at Princeton, not surprisingly) tomorrow morning.
