IT’S FINALLY HERE! CSC is proud to host one of Columbia University’s LARGEST student productions featuring the work and talent of over 100 performers. Lunar Gala showcases both traditional and contemporary Chinese culture and is CSC’s much anticipated celebration of the Lunar New Year. Consisting of two main segments, Lunar Gala presents both a CULTURE SHOW, highlighting unique Chinese traditions and modern trends, as well as a FASHION SHOW, featuring the Spring 2010 lines of many prominent designers.

LG MUSE is geared towards experiencing modern Chinese culture in a way that is fresh and relevant to today’s generation. We hope that our show this year can serve as a ‘MUSE’, or source of inspiration, to Columbia students today through an authentic performance of art, music, and dance. In light of our theme, we are excited present to you the LG FASHION SHOW – which will explore the surreal and fantastic world of dreams while bringing to the runway the hottest designs of Tory Burch, Diane Von Furstenberg, Tahari, and more!

We are pleased to announce that our charity of choice this year is Half the Sky Foundation’s Big Sibling program which supports teenagers in their academic and learning pursuits, specifically providing them with the opportunity of attending a university.
