Columbia University’s Asian Pacific American Awareness Month and Columbia University’s first and only fashion publication, Hoot Magazine (hootmag.org), are hosting a mega-panel discussion with top Asian American figures in the fashion industry in order to promote the education and discussion of fashion and careers in fashion. In accordance to this year’s theme, “Deeper,” we hope to dive deeper into exploring the different ways in which Asian Americans have made revolutionary contributions.
Attendees will be able to ask questions as part of the discussion.
Tickets are only $5 and a portion of the proceeds will go to Friends Without a Border, a not-for-profit organization which provides financial and program support for Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Tickets can be bought online at https://www.ovationtix.com/trs/pe/8095855 or from the Ticket and Information Center (TIC) at Lerner Hall Lobby next to Cafe 212 on Columbia University Campus 115th & Broadway. Will-call tickets can be picked up at TIC until 2:30pm the day of the event. Afterward, we, APAAM and Hoot, will be holding will-call tickets and selling leftover tickets in Lerner Hall until the panel discussion begins.
Refreshments will be served.
