There really are kids on campus, and this isn’t the first time we’ve spotted one of their adorable little bikes. This tricked out Radio Flyer was parked in front of Avery, so naturally it’s fixed-gear.

@Our Lesson Plan Hey kids, we’re going to learn that smoking is fun! Inhale that healthy gray air! Coughing means that it’s working!
@Anonymous how has bwog not yet posted about the fact that four loko shipments to new york state are stopping…
@Anonymous WHERE THE HELL IS BWOGWEATHER
@Anonymous thanks
@Anonymous That’s a terrible way to lock your bike. Neither the frame, front nor back wheel are secured! With little effort a bike thief could easily steal this. I recommend a Kryptonite U-Lock next time.
@Anonymous Good advice, though I have yet to find a good lock that secures the training wheels as well.
@Jigsaw I want to play a game.
@Anonymous aww so cute.
@That NYT feature is the most brilliant piece I have read in a long time.

subcultures… they are not a new phenomenon… get over it.
ps. that’s a coaster brake, not a fixed gear.
@FYI LOOK AT THAT FUCKING HIPSTER
(jp, i secretly love our columbia hipsters)
@Anonymous anxiety anxiety!
@party pooper! it’s a fixed gear by virtue of the fact it’s in front of avery. the fact it does not physically have a fixed-gear setup is irrelevant. don’t ruin the joke!
