@OPTIMISM People are screaming early. Awkward.
@Well done. No one in Nussbaum screamed. Well played everyone.
@?? isnt primal scream tomorrow?
@OPTIMISM Sunday!
@Anonymous When is orgo night?
@Mozzarella stickler *Don’t*! Study!
@Carolyn fixed!
@what... …are you talking about? 209, is NOT filled to capacity. It will be at 11.59 when students have climbed up on all the tables and bookshelves! Just get there at 11.45 and you’ll be fine.
@anybody else think its bullshit that Columbia kids are kept outta MB until Midnight whereas we let them use our Library, Gym, Fields, and Name whenever they want?
@Anonymous nope.
@bc '14 Um…..and vice versa for CU.
In this case, it’s a tradition involving limited space and limited food. And they need to be organized, and naturally BC students get first priority. There are plenty of CU opportunities that we get shut out of also….thus maintaining the divide.
@Anonymous yea, um…with good reason.
@bc '14 I didn’t disagree, did I?
@Anonymous You know those Barnard girls… They need to eat. FOOD!!
@uh why shouldn’t they get to use their own paid-for resources? also i’m a dude and i went at 11:30 and had no problems; i’m assuming they just wanted to avoid a stampede from across the street.
@Anonymous Uh, yeah. Barnard pays Columbia a couple million a year for Barnard students to use Columbia facilities. Columbia isn’t “letting” them do anything.
@Anonymous 1) They don’t actually enforce the 11:30/12:00 rule. Also, there’s always a ridiculous line at 11:30. You’re better off going at 12 or later.
2) McAC is 100% funded by Barnard SGA (most other Columbia/Barnard clubs are jointly funded by all student councils) and the event is planned solely by Barnard students. I think that it’s okay if they admit non-BC students a few minutes later.
@BWOG Can you please confirm that you will post the video of Orgo Night? I dont think I will be able to make it out to 209 tonight – early final tomorrow. Thanks.
@CURFC Bullshit. So do I. I’m not ready. This is the one thing that Columbia does that shows any sort of school spirit. I strongly urge you to come.
@They nearly always post it online, I am sure they will this year as well. 209 is already filled to capacity so do not bother coming at this pt. Bwog, we are relying on you for all of us that can’tget in!

@it will be very difficult to find a spot past 11:30
@how long is orgo night? giving up more than a half hour at this point is really pushing it for me.
@go! It’s 30 minutes! It’s fun! And at midnight you’re going to need a break. Yay for traditions!
@OK! Which half of 209 will the speakers tell jokes from? closer to the reserves or closer to the stained glass thing?
@go! Aim for the middle, otherwise I’d say closer to the reserves is better for hearing.
@i am really going to need that video like last year. there is no room anywhere in 209 for me.
@Anish Once the band has it ready we’ll post it!
@eh I’m gonna be there at 11 hitting on barnard freshies.
@columbia student i’m going to midnight breakfast at 11:30
@Eliza I did! I’m a finals-headed fool! Fixed.
