Women’s History Month begins today, and you can kick it off with a free meal from an off-campus caterer, courtesy of the Women’s History Month Committee! Head over to Roone Auditorium for the Opening Ceremony event, including speakers and a performance, from 6 – 8 pm.

Update, 8:09 pm: At this very moment, the Current is hosting a panel on the state of higher education with big-shot profs Andrew Delbanco and Roger Leheka. Head to the Kraft Center (606 W. 115th St) for what promises to be a “scintillating” affair. And here’s the menu breakdown: 3 different types of Westside cheese, dinner crackers, triscuits, kosher cheese, grapes, strawberries, iced tea, pita chips, and hummus. Yummus.
