Flipcams will soon go the way of the Polaroid. Cisco, (not to be confused with Sisqó,) the company that acquired the Flip video cameras in 2009, is now discontinuing Bwog’s favorite handy device.

This is crushing news. For without a Flip cam, how could there be a permanent record of Book Culture’s Pomeraniawwww, elevator existentialism, or Elmo stalking?

Then again, apparently people made insane videos (if you click one link in this post it should be this one) even before the Digital Age.

Dearest Flip, you’ll never flop.
