Picketing and Picnicking at the Day of Unity

"The spirit of '68"

The week of protests quietly rages on. A group affiliated with St. Mary’s Episcopal Church has organized a Day of Unity in support of Columbia employees. For those interested, the event will include picketing the Columbia Employment Center, a community march, picketing PrezBo’s house, speeches at Fredrick Douglas Boulevard, and a picnic to wrap up the day. Festivities begin at 125th and Broadway at 1 pm. The Facebook event has all the details.
