For all those tired out from today’s SlutWalk events, head over for to Stephen Donaldson Lounge in Furnald Basement (yeah, we didn’t know it was called that either) from 4 to 6 pm for dinner and discussion with the Columbia Women’s Organization. They promise free food from Indian Café, as well as free knapsacks, water bottles, and lanyards left over from this morning’s walk. The CWO will also invite guests to engage in discussion on SlutWalk’s place in modern feminism, so consider brushing up on your Second Sex (or Jezebel, for the millennials) before checking it out.

@Anonymous Do BC women have swipe access? If not, they’re unsafe in Furnald, then.
@hmm I’m not sure I understand the joke.
@?? I don’t have a problem with any of this, but where on campus are women “unsafe?” What do they need to hide from?
@CWO The mission of Columbia Women’s Organization (CWO) is to facilitate conversations on sex and gender issues and also provide a safe space for women. CWO sponsors Women’s History Month (WHM), Women’s Ways of Leading (WWL) conference, and a mentoring program with Columbia College Women (CCW) in addition to holding weekly topic-based discussions and monthly speaker discussions. We are looking for active members to join our executive board and 3 committees (WHM, WWL, CCW) and help facilitate our discussions.
@CWO You can contact us at columbiawomen at gmail to join our mailing list or get involved in the group.
