So, uh, got an internship this summer?

Ever wondered what all those chemicals are in your deodorant or shampoo? Find out along with some carbon-friendly grub, even vegan pizza, at the Judith Shapiro Faculty Room on the second floor of the Diana Center at 7 pm at the EcoRep potluck. There, Siobhan O’Connor, co-author of No More Dirty Looks: The Truth About Your Beauty Products and the Ultimate Guide to Safe and Clean Cosmetics will be speaking. If you’re looking for something to do over the summer or are just in need for a dinnertime nosh before you read endless rumors about the upcoming Mad Men season hit the books, stop on by to 401 Hamilton tonight from 8 to 9 pm.  There, Community Impact will be talking about The Van Amson Fellowship, a program that provides funding (in the form of a $3,000 stipend) and free housing to six Columbia/Barnard undergraduates who have secured unpaid, service-related internships for the summer of 2012. That’s this summer, folks, in case you haven’t thought about it, yet.
