Around 11 AM today, we started receiving tips about a massive noise heard at the 620 residence hall on 116th. Although our thoughts immediately jumped to the Cloverfield monster, the source of the noise appears to be something much less reptilian: the boiler. According to eyewitnesses, 620’s boiler exploded, producing massive amounts of smoke and causing the entire building to shake. Residents had to be evacuated and report that their water is now brown (ew, gross).
If you have any information on the boiler explosion, send it to tips@bwog.com or leave it in the comments.

@Anonymous This was the culmination of the collective sexual frustration of Barnard women.
@Kyra Everyone is safe, unlike what happened in May of 1979: http://www.habitatmag.com/Earlier-Issues/2007-October/Featured-Articles-from-Our-Print-Magazine/Local-Law-11-A-Primer#.UQq_d6FU6ec.
The water is no longer brown. If you let it run for a little bit it becomes clear again; it’s just silt from the boiler. There are currently people yelling at each other outside my window (by the basement) allegedly trying to fix something. Many expletives have been uttered and there are strange scratching and hammering noises coming from below.
@Anonymous They have taken the bridge and the second hall. We have barred the gates but cannot hold them for long. The ground shakes, drums… drums in the deep. We cannot get out. A shadow lurks in the dark. We can not get out… they are coming.
@Anonymous This campus needs a hero, a silent protector…a Dark Hand.
