Beasts:

Bans:

If Microsoft wins its lawsuit in Germany, Google Maps and other Google apps could face a ban come June. (CNet)

The European Union proposed this week a  “ban on all forms of pornography in the media,” which is terrifying. (Huffington Post)

Both:

The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species did not pass a ban on the trading of polar bear parts. (New York Times)

Colorado legislators are considering a ban on a practice called “docking,” which is when farmers cut the tails off their cows for sanitary reasons. (LA Times)
