Picture it now, the fight for the last blue bin

Bwog almost forgot in the excitement of NSOP that Columbia supports three other years’ worth of students, but with Saturday the 31st looming, we can’t ignore the empty suitcase sitting on our bedroom floor. Sorry, first-years — it’s been real, but starting tomorrow you’re going to have to share campus with 2016, 2015, and 2014. So all upperclassmen who’ve been scrolling through the memories on our NSOP posts this week: move-in day for sophomores, juniors, and seniors is tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Here’s the list of check-in locations; for the most part, you’ll be checking in at your dorm (Watt, Symposium, Brownstones, and Furnald are the exceptions). If you arrive after 7 p.m. tomorrow, check-in at Hartley.

And perhaps the most important information, the deal with blue bins:

“Bins will be available to rent on Saturday, August 31 in Broadway Hall, Schapiro Hall, Hartley/Wallach Gate, and East Campus street level location on 117th and Morningside Drive. A limited number of bins will be available in 600 W. 113 and 47 Claremont. Saturday’s bin rentals locations will be open from 8:00am – 7:30pm, and Sunday’s bin rental locations will be available from 9:00am – 2:00pm. After-hours bin rentals, and all bin rentals after 2:00pm on Sunday afternoon will take place in the Hartley Lounge.”

Good luck snagging one, guys. See y’all tomorrow! We missed you, too.
