There are two free food events today, and Bwog wants to attend both, too. Thanks to plenty of tips, the first is at 9:00pm tonight in the Dodge Room of Earl Hall:

The Columbia Neuroscience Society will be hosting a talk with Dr. Carl Hart.
There was recently a New York Times article about him and ”The Rational Choices of Crack Addicts.”

Dr. Carl Hart does human drug research and has controversial views on drug policy. AND there will be free dessert.

Also tonight, Acumen is having an event at 8:00pm in Hamilton 516:

Acumen is a non-profit organization that takes donations and invests them in social entreprises, tackling poverty as well as the challenges it poses. Come engage with leaders of NY+Acumen, who will present on Acumen’s philosophy and model, then work through a case study on one of Acumen’s actual investments. There will be free food!
