Bwoglines: The Seahawks Won Edition

That’s one green city, folks.

In case you haven’t heard, the Seattle Seahawks handed the Denver Broncos one of the most potent ass-kickings in Superbowl history.  (NYT)

Even more sad (if you’re a Broncos fan) and if you’re not, one of America’s great character actors, Oscar winning actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman died yesterday morning from an apparent heroin overdose. He’d been sober for 23 years before a relapse in 2012. (NYT)

Yo, it’s about to get hella cold up in this city. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and it’s supposed to snow a bunch this week. #6moreweeks (CNN)

And yes, the hilarious pun that emerged from the Denver/Seattle game,”smoke a SUPERbowl,” did get some media coverage.  (TIME)
